Our role as a trusted community partner and intermediary between our most vulnerable community members including immigrant families and government agencies to ensure they access the services they need. We are well positioned to assist immigrant families in culturally and linguistically competent ways.

We work alongside our community to identify opportunities for their own leadership development and personal growth. Current initiatives include the Climate Justice Ambassadors Program, OYE Latinx Youth Conference, and Youth Internship programs.

Staying true to our legacy, El Concilio seeks to build coalitions and multi-sector partnerships and collaboratives with other community based organizations.

We know that our communities of color are most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. El Concilio provides hyperlocal outreach, education and coordination on action that can lead to public policy.
